Lead Pipe Replacement

If your house was built pre 1970s, there is a high likelihood that your incoming supply is lead. Whilst short term use is not thought to be damaging, there are studies to show continued ingestion via tiny particles in drinking water over a long period of time, can be harmful to the development of young children and pregnant women. Most Water providers offer a lead replacement scheme, whereby if you replace the pipes from your boundary to the property with 25mm MDPE, they will replace the rest of the pipes to the main free of charge.

Vitrix are WIAPs and water safe approved, our staff have the training and experience to replace your lead pipes and you will be given a completion certificate to present to your water provider. In most instances we can mole the supply.
